Well, I finally had enough. No more procrastinating on getting fit and losing weight.

I have been doing Power 90 (not P90X) off and on for awhile but never really changed my diet. This equals no real change. I recently read The “The Dukan Diet” by Dr. Pierre Dukan. I like his very structured approach. I usually want to start new diet or exercise programs at the beginning of the week or the beginning of the month, maybe the middle. I was planned to start August 1st 2011. No more waiting and making excuses. Starting today July 28th 2011, Thursday.

No before pictures. I do not want them. Who wants to see another over-weight middle-age guy.
I will weigh myself everyday and additionally, judge my weight loss by how my clothes fit.

1st GOAL: 165lbs by November 1st, 2011 – my 48th birthday

Start:
5’7”
Weight: 205lbs – July 28th, 2011
Waist: 38-40 – Pants size snug 38.

1st Goal:
Weight: 160.2lbs – November 1st, 2011
Waist: 34 – Pant size normal 34.

UPDATE: September 1, 2013 – 2 months until 50.
Still 5’7″
Weight: 150lbs
Waist: 32

Still doing P90X, but added Insanity for cardio.
